Clifton Wayne Ladd, Sr., 41, of Dunkirk passed away at his home on November 22, 2014. He was born December 18, 1972 at P.G. Hospital in Cheverly, MD to Grover Macon, Sr. and Teresa Mary (Caputo) Ladd.

Clifton was raised in Dunkirk and attended Tracey's Elementary and the Phoenix Center in Annapolis. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with family owned G.M. Ladd and Sons and well as other construction companies. Clifton enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, football and spending time with his family.

Clifton was preceded in death by his father Grover Macon Ladd, Sr. He is survived by a son Clifton Wayne Ladd, Jr. of St. Leonard, his mother Teresa M. Ladd of Dunkirk, and a granddaughter Skylor Adams. Also surviving are a bother Grover M. "Chip" Ladd, Jr. of Port Republic and sisters Brenda L. Thomas of Tappahannock, VA and Roseanna L. Ladd of Waterview, VA.
