Brawner, Robert Michael, Age 52 of Waldorf, Maryland.

Robert Michael Brawner, more affectionately known as Mike, was born on April 12, 1955 in Washington, D.C. to Mary Estelle Ware Brawner and the late Francis Leroy Brawner.

Mike grew up in Charles County, Maryland and attended the Charles County Public Schools; after which, he worked in construction.

On November 19, 1980, he married Alice Ann Adams. Mike was blessed with two beautiful daughters and granddaughters.

He enjoyed spending time with family, football, watching westerns on television and going to the race tracks.

On Monday evening, March 10, 2008 at his home and surrounded by his loving family Mike left this life for one eternal.

Left to cherish fond memories are his wife of 27 years, Alice A. Brawner, two daughters, Robin Brawner and Erica Brawner, two granddaughters, De'vonni Farrar and Amyah Swann, mother, Mary Estelle Brawner, step-mother, Jeannie "Rebop" Brawner, special friend, Frederick "Fred" King and special friend and brother-in-law, Butch Adams, other relatives and friends.

His Viewing and Funeral will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Thornton Funeral Home Chapel, 3439 Livingston Road (State Route #227, Pomonkey) Indian Head, Maryland. Viewing 9:00 am; Service 10:00 am. His Interment will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery in Pomfret, Maryland.
