Marilyn Marie Bauserman, 74, of Indian Head, MD died on November 5, 2014 at the Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, MD.

Marilyn was a homemaker who loved landscaping and working in her yard and garden where she created an oasis for family and friends. She enjoyed dining out with her husband at her favorite restaurants. She especially loved Christmas – her decorating was comparable to a page from magazines – it took her weeks to prepare. She was known as a guardian angel and cared and listened to all. She was very compassionate.

She is the daughter of the late Woodrow Page Spiers and the late Lillian Elvira Lee Spiers. She is also predeceased by her son, Tony McNeel and her step-mother, Helen Lee Spiers. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Gilbert Lee Bauserman; her children, Shelly Hill and Tammy Potter; her step-son, David Bauserman; and her siblings, Cynthia Lee and her husband Fred, Gloria Lowe and her husband David, Woodrow H. Spiers and his wife Julie, Maurice Spiers and his wife Alvylyn, Elvira Mount, Donnie Spiers and his significant other Marjean, Linda Hunt and her husband Wesley, and Cheryl Lewis and her husband Larry. Also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends received on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 5-8PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11AM at the Grace Baptist Church in Bryans Road, MD. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
