Sandra Ruth Dorwart, 47 of Hughesville, MD after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer, departed this veil of tears on March 10, 2008 at her home.

Born July 3, 1960 in Washington, DC, Sandra graduated from Thomas Stone High School and also attended CSM. She was employed by the Department of the Navy as a Computer Specialist at Pax River. Sandi loved all outdoor activities, fast boating, crabbing, fishing, camping at Goosebay Marina and especially her times at the beach with her family. Her dog Baby was her constant companion.

She leaves to mourn her daughter, Cara Rochelle Dorwart, her loving parents, Frank X. and Mary Ann Dorwart, siblings; Theresa Boswell, Steve Dorwart, Angela Trigonoplos, Cecelia Ann Dorwart, William Dorwart and Robert Dorwart, Sr., Godchild; Dominic Dorwart, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sandi was preceded in death by her brother Timothy Dorwart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 10AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Thomas Gude as the celebrant.

Pallbearers for Ms. Dorwart were; Steve Dorwart, Robert Dorwart, Sr., William Dorwart, George Clark, Ralph Boswell, Benjamin Trigonoplos and Warren Hawkins.

Interment was private.
