![]() Harold Christopher Garner, Sr., was born on September 14, 1958 to the late Owen Garner Sr. and Elva Garner in Calvert County, MD. He departed this life suddenly on October 2, 2014. Harold A.K.A., "Macho Man" and "The Grand Wizard'', was a caring father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was educated in the public schools of Calvert County, MD.
At an early age, Macho Man began working on a farm with the late Captain Edward Sollers. He was Captain Ed's right hand man. Later he began working with Chris Barnes until a fall disabled him. Macho Man's favorite pastimes included being with his family and friends, especially during the holidays and at cook-outs. He was a back-up singer for his brother, Head 's, singing group "HAH". He loved singing song from his favorite group, "New Birth ", especially the song "Wild Flower". Macho Man was preceded in death by his parents: Owen Sr. and Elva Garner; brothers: Owen Garner Jr. and Ronald (Head) Garner; twin nephews: Arnez Mitchell and Nanez Mitchell Sr. and niece, Keisha Garner. Macho Man leaves to cherish his memories his son: Harold C. Garner, Jr.; 1 Granddaughter; 10 sisters: Diane (Cliffton) Johnson, Betty (Carlton) Spriggs, Carol Holsey, Gloria (Larry) Gross, Dianne Harrod, Merle Garner, April Garner, Tracy Garner, Lashann Garner and Janay (Darnell) Chase; 6 brothers: John Harrod, Linwood Harrod, Arthur Harrod, Earl Garner, Michael Garner and Antonio Garner; 2 aunts: Martha Commodore and Viola Milbourne; 1 Great Aunt Edna Fleming and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
