Anne Marie Rullman, 74, of Leonardtown, MD died on October 23, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 3, 1940 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Edward James O'Brien II and Lillian McGrath O'Brien.

On January 20, 1962, Anne married her beloved husband, David Carl Rullman in Baltimore, MD. Together they celebrated 52 wonderful years of marriage.

Anne was a devoted wife and a loving and supportive mother. She has lived in Germany and Switzerland, and travelled extensively through Europe. She was a Master Gardener and enjoyed visiting gardens across the United States and in many countries. She and her husband loved boating, and have made trips up and down the intercostal water way, the Florida Keys and the Bahamas. She enjoyed entertaining friends and family and was an exquisite cook.

Anne had a deep appreciation for fine art and a flair for design. She spent over 20 years as a decorative painter. She was a member of the National Society of Arts and Letters, St. Mary's City Garden Club, and the Arts Alliance for St. Mary's College of Maryland. Anne had a deep love for music and served on the Peoria Symphony Guild. She was an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and was generous in supporting various charities. She was a devoted Catholic and a lector at St. Aloysius Catholic Church.

In addition to her beloved husband, Anne is survived by her children, Karen Anne Rullman of Raleigh, NC and Brien Edward Rullman of Los Angeles, CA; her sister, Eileen Zubrowski of Boston, MA; her brother, Edward O'Brien of Loretto, PA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son, Mark David Rullman and her sister, Theresa O'Brien.

Family will receive friends for Anne's Life Celebration on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with prayers recited at 7 p.m., at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend David Beaubien on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 22800 Washington Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650.

Interment will be held at a later date at the Basilica of St Michael the Archangel in Loretto PA, at her family's plot. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Ballard, Jim Bershon, Larry Langfeldt, Labro Parish, Craig Messersmith and Bob Wittenberg.
