Margaret Compton Mansley, 91, of Leonardtown, MD died October 20, 2014 at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital. Born July 28, 1923 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Garfield Compton and Anna McGill Compton.

Margaret was a resident of St. Mary's County since 2003. She enjoyed word games, traveling, reading books, and her favorite was playing word games on the iPad. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

Margaret is survived by her children, Karen Mansley, of Leonardtown, MD, Ronald Mansley, of Orefield, PA, Kenneth Mansley, of Cresco, PA; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Edward Mansley, and her sister, Dorothy Brostrom.
