Virginia Frances "Ginny" Mishou, 76, of Lusby, MD died March 7, 2008 at the Calvert County Nursing Center. She was born September 13, 1931 in Lusby, MD to the late Malcolm and Madeline Dowell. She was the loving wife of the late Joe Mishou whom she married on May 26, 1950 in Lusby, MD.

Ginny is survived by three children; Gary Mishou and wife Diann of St. Leonard, MD, Michael Mishou and wife Marilyn of Davidsonville, MD, Joanne Sheran and husband Robert of Lusby, MD; two sisters; Eula Mae McCready, and Agnes Allegra and husband Anthony all of Lusby, MD; one brother; Donald Dowell and wife Grace of Sunderland, MD; ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Ginny was a lifelong Calvert County resident and graduated from Calvert High School in 1948. She was the United States Post Master in Lusby, MD for 31 years until her retirement on April 26, 1986. Ginny was about family and one of her passions in life was to be the family cheerleader. She loved to attend all of her children and grandchildren's activities supporting them in any way she could.

Acting as pallbears will be Chase Mishou, Paul Sheran, Michael Mishou, Gary Mishou, Kyle Mishou, Jacob Mishou, and Riley Mishou.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., 20 American Lane, Lusby, MD.

A Funeral Service will be said on March 12, 2008 at 11 A.M. in St. Paul United Methodist Church, 11000 H.G. Trueman Road, Lusby, MD with Rev. Ron Collier officiating. Interment will be private.
