Sidwell Summer has been providing enriching summer experiences to students from all over the greater Washington, DC area since 1939. Our participants come from over 22 different states and 10 countries and attend over 100 different schools. This diversity enriches our programs which individually still retain small ‘homebase’, class, or workshop sizes. Today Sidwell Summer consists of fifteen different programs with sessions over eleven weeks. Our day programs are based on our Bethesda (Lower School) or Wisconsin Avenue (Middle and Upper School) campuses. The overnight programs are located at two wonderful facilities directly on the water and our trips take participants on amazing adventures. Our staff includes teachers, college and high school students, professionals, and generally fun people.
