The museum's permanent collection of 20th-century Latin American and Caribbean art is one of the most important collections of its kind in the United States. The galleries are located on the National Mall, the grassy area between the Capitol and the Washington Monument, steps from the Smithsonian Metro stop. The Sackler Gallery is located at 1050 Independence Avenue, SW. The Freer Gallery of Art is located at Jefferson Drive at 12th Street, SW. The two museums are connected by an underground exhibition space.

The B'nai B'rith Klutznick National Jewish Museum is open to the public, free of charge. However, advance reservations are required (please call 202-857-6583 or email museum AT bnaibrith.org). The hours are Monday-Thursday, 12-3 p.m. and is closed on major Jewish and federal holidays. The museum is located in the B'nai B'rith International headquarters, 1640 Rhode Island Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20036 (Metro red line to Farragut North or Dupont Circle, blue/orange line to Farragut West [7-minute walk to the museum]). Wheelchair-accessible.
