So. Maryland, So Good is a campaign designed to help consumers identify truly Southern Maryland products and buy accordingly. By building a direct link between buyers and growers of the five Southern Maryland counties, by promoting the advantages of buying local, we hope to help keep farming vibrant and vital in Southern Maryland. The site can help you determine what produce is in season and where you can buy it. They also provide a list of argiculture-related services. Information on where to go and what to see is provided for the Agri-tourist.

Southern Maryland Trails provides a lovely guidebook that allows both natives and visitors to the area to explore and enjoy southern Maryland's natural and cultural treasures. The guidebook offers you two different themed tours: the "Fossils and Farmscapes Ramble" or the "Barnwood and Beach Glass Loop." Both tours offer the funseeker a wide array of farms; local artists & galleries; restaurants & eateries; and gardens, natural areas and praks with which to visit and enjoy. You can download the guide in PDF from the website or visit one of the many locations where you can pick up a free hardcopy. The program was developed as a means to assist and promote farmers and related businesses as Southern Maryland diversifies and transitions away from its tobacco-dependent economy. The program is managed by the Southern Maryland Agricultural Development Commission and the Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland.
