J Rêve International STEAM+ is proud to announce a conference program to better prepare educators, students and governments for growing intellectual demands, student performance, and creative thinking.

STEAM+ Arts Integration is a Professional Development program taking place in Washington, DC, July 28-30th, 2017 to encourage arts education and integration in multi-subject education.

The conference will comprise a series of presentations, visits to cultural and education institutions, roundtable discussions, workshops and panel discussions on STEAM+ education and arts integration. The STEAM+ program will feature a collaboration of interdisciplinary educators, policy-makers, and artists to deliberate and explore productive ways of incorporating art themes into interdisciplinary education.

The National Park Service invites you to learn the secrets of the Declaration of Independence at the home of one of Maryland's signers. Activities include:
• Free tours of Thomas Stone's house are normally given on demand.
• Watch a film and explore the exhibits in the Visitor Center.
• Hike over two miles of trails through forests and fields, while passing historic plantation buildings and the Stone Family Cemetery.
• Complete an assortment of Junior Ranger activities to earn badges, certificates, and other prizes.
• Collect seven different National Park Passport Stamps.
• Purchase books and souvenirs in the gift shop.

Dr. Helen Bailey, an Associate Research Professor at the
Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, studies the migration of
young leatherback sea turtles. To raise awareness of this
critically endangered species, Bailey co-authored a delightful
children’s story, published in both English and Spanish. Through
its narrative, the book describes the life history of leatherback
turtles and threats to their survival, while introducing the
concept of marine conservation.

Several Vintage Race Boats will be on display and drivers will be on hand to discuss their boats and the Regatta. The band "Unfinished Business" will be featured on the stage.
Great music, great food, great people, and a great time!!
