Quilts, furniture, antiques, picnic tables, gift sets, dinners, sports memorabilia, collectibles, Afghans, rockers, and many other items made and donated by the parish community.

Food (stuffed ham sandwiches, fried chicken, hot dogs, potato salad, and vegetable crab soup) and drinks available from 4 P.M.

Spring Dell's 23rd Annual Auction

Spring Dell Center has been supporting adults with developmental disabilities for almost 50 years, twenty-two of those years have included a successful auction and dinner that has provided resources for various programs provided by the agency. Again this year, the organization will hold a live and silent auction/dinner scheduled for November 18, 2016 at the Jaycees Center, 3090 Crain Highway, Waldorf, MD. The event will have over 200 items, generating funds to support programs for individuals with disabilities that are not funded by the state. This year’s auction theme is “Maryland my Maryland” and the list of fabulous items continues to grow daily. To date, items include antiques, event tickets, sports memorabilia, trips and much more. Advance tickets are $40 and $50 at the door. Doors to the event will open at 5 p.m.
Past projects supported by the auction include; fitness training provided by local gyms, adaptive equipment expanding the Movement and Wellness program, as well as handicapped accessible vehicles used at the agency’s residential homes. Proceeds from the event have also helped provide life changing experiences for individuals utilizing programs such as Kristin, who utilizes our Supported Employment program services, who recently secured a paid position at the Hampton Inn, where she works regularly. This is just one of our many success stories.
There is still plenty of time for you to get involved. By becoming a partnering business, you will change lives of individual’s right here in your community and will have your business/organization recognized by over 400 guests who attend the event. Recruit a friend, bring your favorite beverage, and learn the ins and outs of fused glass design as we create lovely glass ornaments just in time for the holidays. Learn to cut and grind the glass and arrange your pieces into artistic designs. Each person will create 2-3 ornaments.
•Ornaments will be fired in a kiln and ready for pickup within 7-10 days.
•Materials fee due to instructor at class for use of her supplies.
