Laura Comeau of California, MD and Shawn Stanley of California, MD were married on Saturday, May 22, 2004 in the Calvert Marina Clubhouse, Dowell, MD.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Robinson of Jacksonville, FL & Philip Comeau of Spring Hill, FL. The groom is the son of Carole LaRoche & Page Stanley and step-son of Peter LaRoche and Mary Lee Stanley, all of Mechanicsville, MD.

Best friend of the bride, Renee Litke of Harleysville, PA, will be her matron of honor and Rebeckah Stanley, daughter of the groom, will be her bridesmaid.

Best friend of the groom, Don Behrens of California, MD will be his best man and Andrew Litke, God-son of the bride, will be his groomsman.

Both the bride and the groom are active sailors and officers of Southern Maryland Sailing Association (SMSA).

The newlyweds will honeymoon in Aruba.
