The bride and groom are both 1995 gradutes of Calvert High School. Stacie went to Salisbury State and UMCP for accounting. She is continuting at UMCP for her Education degree, in middle school Math and Science.
The wedding took place on June 24, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church, Port Republic, MD. The officant was Rev. John Howanstine. The ceremony music was played by Janet Gross and trumpet soloist Jake Weems.
The Maids of Honor were Jessica Selig and Jessica Montgomery. The Bridesmaids were Cris Bowles, Lisa Hance, Stephanie Bogley. Junior Bridesmaid was Stephanie Hance and Stephanie Sprouse was the flower girl. The best man was Thomas Browning. The groomsmen were Thomas Catlett, Joe Catlett, and Jake Weems. Junior Groomesman was Patrick Dunn and the ringbearer was Luke Weems.
The Bride's dress was sleeveless with a sweetheart neckline with embroidered daisies with pearl centers. It was had a four foot train.
The Bridesmaids' dresses were a pale blue from Marlene's in Dunkirk. Groomsmen were a high button tux, blue vests, and a black euro-tie.
The wedding party was carried to the reception at Calvert Elks Lodge in limousines were provided by AAA Transport & Limousine in Owings, MD. The first limousine was a stretch white limo which seated 14 people. The second limo was also white which held 12 people.
At the reception, music was played by David Saul. A seven layer wedding cake was created by Smallwood Bakers. The cake was white with daisies and blue ribbon surrounding each layer. There first dance was to the song "I finally found someone" by Barbara Striesand and Bryan Adams.
The couple now resides in Port Republic, MD.
