Amy Lee Murphy of Dunkirk, Maryland and Michael Thomas Kane of Huntingtown, Maryland were married on Saturday, December 16, 2000 in Jesus Good Shephard, Dunkirk, MD. The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Patricia Murphy. The groom is the son of Michael and Judith Kane.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Turks and Caicos.

The bride and groom graduated from Northern High School in May 1993. The bride received a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Towson University in May 1997 and currently works for Giant Food, Inc. as a Trainer/Analyst. The groom received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Frostburg State University in December 1997 and currently works as a Prince Georges County Police Officer.
