Jane LaMar Quigley of Lewes, Delaware, formerly of Waldorf, MD died on September 13, 2014 in Lewes, DE. She was 67 years old. Born on January 1, 1947 in Hannibal, MO she was the daughter of the late Marjorie Ward Morris and the late William Mason Morris Jr.

Mrs. Quigley grew up in Pennsylvania and received her Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Penn State. For 36 years taught elementary school (mainly 2nd and 3rd grade) at TC Martin Elementary School in Bryantown, MD.

After retiring in 2007 she stayed active in the Charles County schools by tutoring. She volunteered for years with Destination Imagination and was a founding member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD.

She and her husband moved to Lewes, DE in March 2013. She was a member and Chair of Children and Youth Programs at American Legion Auxiliary Unit 17 in Lewes, DE. She loved sports, especially University of Maryland Football, and Nationals Baseball. Mrs. Quigley was known for her generosity, love for children, always thinking of others over herself, and she never did anything half way.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived husband of 42 years, James Quigley, her daughters Michelle Quigley of Waldorf, MD, Marjorie Quigley Brown with husband Kevin Brown of Chantilly, VA, and Marie Quigley of Alexandria, VA; her grandchildren Russell, Thomas, Josephine Brown; her brother William Mason Morris III of Willow Grove, PA.

Visitation on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 5-8 PM Raymond Funeral Service La Plata, MD. Mass on Friday, Sept 19, 2014 at 11AM Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Waldorf MD with Father Alain Colliou officiating. Interment to follow at St Mary's Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Helen, MD.
