Betty Ann Sullivan, of Cobb Island, MD died on August 22, 2014 at the University of MD Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. She was 81 years old.

Betty was an accountant with the Naval Ordnance Station in Indian Head, MD and a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Newburg, MD where she served with the Ladies of Charity. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and a member of the Cobb Island Yacht Club.

She is the daughter of the late Joseph R. Dent and the late Eunice Davis Dent. She is also predeceased by one daughter, Terri Sullivan; one sister, Doris DeVeney; and one grandchild, Brendan Sullivan.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Albert Sullivan; two sons, Michael Sullivan and wife Laura and John Sullivan and wife Marianne; two daughters, Deborah Gerondakis and husband James and Beth Pence and husband Craig; one brother, Joseph Dent; and one sister, Virginia Dent. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.

Friends received on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 5-8PM with Wake Service at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 11AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Newburg, MD. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers: Sean Gerondakis, Joel Hackett, Collin Sullivan, Michael Dent, David Dent, and Joseph Dent.
