James "Buddy" Hunter Rowley, Jr., 24, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away July 23, 2014 as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. Born May 8, 1990 in Cheverly, MD, he was the son of James H. Rowley, Sr. and Tammy Lynn Rowley.

Buddy worked as an apprentice for Comfort Control in Beltsville, MD.

Buddy was loved by all and was affectionately known as "a lady's man". He was a coach for the Wolfpack Softball Team and enjoyed softball, football, watching the Washington Nationals, Duke Basketball and the Redskins. He liked to shop, especially for clothes and enjoyed movies and being with his friends who called him "Bud Cat".

Predeceased by grandparents, Lillian and John Ramsey, Buddy is survived by his parents; sister, Shannon Nelson; grandparents, Robert Rowley and Arline Rowley; niece, Lilly Nelson and nephew, Hunter Nelson who called him "Bud Ball".

The family will receive friends for Buddy's Life Celebration on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 3:00 - 5:00p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Funeral Service will be held at Brinsfield-Echols on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow at Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made to the James Rowley, Jr. Burial Fund at www.gofundme.com. Arrangements provided by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home.
