Richard Alrick Salisbury, 82, of Charlotte Hall, MD passed away on February 16, 2014 at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. He was born on November 30, 1931 in Baltimore, MD.

Mr. Salisbury served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War from March 14, 1952 until March 5, 1954. He received the National Defense Medal, Korean Service Medal, and United Nations Service Medal. Mr. Salisbury had been a resident at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home since April 2013.

He is survived by his brother, Gregory Salisbury; niece, Shannon Wright; and his friends and caretakers at the Veterans Home.

Arrangements are being handled by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 11:30 AM at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117.
