Samuel Alexander Harris "Mouse", was born on December 13, 1957 in Prince Frederick, Maryland to the late Frank Harris and Viola Brooks. He departed this life on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Calvert Hospice House Family in Prince Frederick, Maryland.

Samuel received his education in Calvert County Public Schools. He was employed with the Buehler's Family Grocery Store for four generations and lived in the house above the store. Samuel loved his job and enjoyed interacting with the customers of St. Leonard.

Outside of work, you would find Samuel spending quality time with friends and family whom he loved dearly. On any given day, you would find Samuel and his siblings discussing his love for the Dallas Cowboys and his secret crush on Whitney Houston. Not only did Samuel love to eat, he also enjoyed cooking. He would sometimes share his secret recipes with family and friends. Samuel enjoyed life and never failed to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Harris, Viola Brooks and brother Calvin Lewis Harris.

Sammy leaves to cherish his memory his uncles Herbert Brooks, James Brooks and his aunt Mary Frances Gross (Mickey). He also leaves his siblings, James, Thomas, Rose (Theodore) and Agnes. He will be greatly missed by his niece Charisse Payne (Alfred) and nephew Tori Harris (Nelly), great nieces Kyra, Dontashia, Dijonna and Dalyanna. He also leaves to cherish his memory his beloved companion Alice Johnson, the Buehler Family, the Huntzberry Family and a host of dear friends and family.
