Powhatan S. Bradbie, age 88, of Charlotte Hall, Maryland passed away Thursday Jan 9, 2014 in Laplata, Maryland.

He is the beloved husband of 32 years of Yvette Bradbie and loving father of Cheryl Skinner, Janis Bradbie, Judy Bradbie-Munoz. Stepfather of Michele Coleman-Bennett, Renee Coleman-Rollins and Rhonda Coleman. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins other family and friends.

Mr. Bradbie lived in the Charlotte Hall area over 12 years and retired from the EEOC with approximately 24 years of service.

He was known as a great jazz musician who also composed, arranged jazz music and played the piano. He was also an avid reader and his library contained many volumes. However to his family he was simply the smartest person alive.
