Don Henry Harriman, 69, of Charlotte Hall, MD, died Sunday, October 27, 2013 in Lynchburg, VA. Born May 22, 1944 in Masontown, West Virginia to the late Henry Forman Harriman and the late Helen O. Pell.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, gardening, wood working, helping friends and family and volunteering.

Don is survived by his wife, Kathleen, son, Chad Harriman (Allison) of Huntingtown, MD, daughter, Amy Brackett (Justin) of Mechanicsville, MD, sisters, Alice M. Novy of Owings, MD, Patty J. Domico of Tallahassee, FL, grandchildren, Grace Harriman, Lauren Harriman, Lindsay Brackett, Ashley Brackett, nieces , nephews and many friends.

Friends will be received for Don's Memorial Gathering on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 4-8 pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Remembrance Service will follow at 7 pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. in Charlotte Hall, MD.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, 1041 Rt. #3, North Bldg. A, Gambrills, MD 21054.
