Wilson, Geneva Anita, 82, of Port Tobacco, Maryland.

On Monday, September 16, 2013, Geneva A. Wilson departed this life at University of Maryland Medical Center in La Plata Maryland. Geneva, was the daughter of the late Clarence B. Proctor and the late Mary Ellen Swann Proctor. She was born March 14, 1931 in Charles County, Maryland.

She was married to the late Alexander D. Wilson, Jr. and was a devoted wife and mother. She spent all of her life in Southern Maryland.

Geneva was employed at the former Physician's Memorial Hospital (currently University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center) as an EKG Technician for over twenty years.

She truly enjoyed life in the country and especially on the water. She loved seafood and was an avid gardener, enjoying the beauty of her plants and flowers. Most of all, she made the best iced tea in Charles County.

She was a faithful Catholic and was a parishioner of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Issue, Maryland and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pomfret, Maryland.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Herman, James Maxwell, James Louis, and Francis Xavier.

Left to cherish many memories is her devoted daughter, Latina. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews; nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation, 10am until Mass of Christian Burial, 11am, Thursday, September 19, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 4590 St. Joseph's Way, Pomfret, Maryland. Interment, Church Cemetery.
