John Ball Dade, Jr. (Jack), age 77, of La Plata, MD, passed to eternal life Sunday, March 10, 2013 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife Diane Dade; sons Rob, Rick, John, and James Dade; stepsons Ken and John Murphy and former wife Barbara Dade. He leaves 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, John Sr. and Genevieve, he is preceded in death by his sister Shirley and brother Robert "Big Bob" Dade.

A gathering will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 10 AM until 12 Noon with a Memorial Service beginning at Noon at Calvary United Methodist Church, 3235 Leonardtown Road, Waldorf, MD. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Accokeek Academy, 14600 Berry Road, Accokeek, MD 20607 under the "Jack Dade Memorial Fund."
