Harold George Domchick of Waldorf, MD died on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. He was 96 years old.

Mr. Domchick was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II serving as a sonar man on the USS Riley and then upon returning home joined the United States Army Field Band as a saxophonist at Ft. Meade, MD. After retiring from the military, he worked as a drivers' license examiner for the MVA. He was a member of the Greenbelt American Legion, the Masons, and Greenbelt Community Church.

He most enjoyed playing music with his fellow musicians with the Rheinlanders at Blob's Park in Odenton, MD.

Son of the late George Domchick and the late Elizabeth Wilson Domchick. Predeceased by his parents, his wife Della Domchick, and his brother George Domchick.

Survived by his children: Judy Hall and her husband Alvin of Reedville, VA, Harold Domchick, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Greenbelt, MD, and Margaret Barton and her husband Bob of Beltsville, MD; his sister-in-law Ellen Domchick of Wheaton, MD; his grandchildren: Joanne, Karen, Glenn, Dianne, James, Jessica, Nicole, and Katharine; and his great grandchildren: Benjamin, David, Hannah, Tyler, Jack, and Sam.

Visitation: Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 1PM until time of Funeral Service at 4PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Clergy: Rev. Bruce Jones. Honorary Pallbearers: United States Army Honor Guard. Interment: Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11AM at MD Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD.
