Mary Pauline Hyde, 74, of Charlotte Hall, MD, died February 17, 2013 at St. Mary's Nursing Center, Leonardtown, MD. Born September 6, 1938 in Cheverly, Maryland, she was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Wilkerson and Agnes Beatrice Shorter Wilkerson.

She worked for many years as a hostess in several hotels.

Pauline was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Joseph H. Hyde, Sr., son, Robert Marvin Hyde; grandson, Jeffrey W. Hyde; brothers, Benjamin F, Wilkerson and James Robert Wilkerson; sister, Irene Mae Bond.

She is survived by her children, Joseph H. Hyde, Jr. of Jefferson, MD, Charles "Rusty" R. Hyde of King George, VA, Paul "Tony" A. Hyde of Charlotte Hall, MD and Debra L. Gray of Jefferson MD; sisters, Ruth Ann Sipe of Virginia Beach, VA, Virginia L. Lange Brandywine, MD, Betty Ann Walker of Hughesville, MD, Barbara Jean Thornton of La Plata, MD, Cecelia Marie Whitaker of Texas and Dorothy Delores Peters of Hay Springs, NE; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 4:00 - 8:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00a.m. at Brinsfield-Echols with Minister Shirley Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
