Patricia Ann Flaherty of Pomfret, MD died on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at her residence with Hospice. She was 83 years old.

Mrs. Flaherty was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pomfret, MD.

Daughter of the late Albert J. Hayden and the late Mary Wilma McGuire Hayden.

Predeceased by her parents; her late husband: Bernard "Jack" Flaherty; one late son: Patrick M. Flaherty; and one late sister: Theresa Roberts.

Survived by one son: William T. Flaherty of Annandale, VA; five daughters: Jackie E. Palmer of Pomfret, MD, Susan M. Flaherty of Annandale, VA, Lorraine A. (Bill) Kayes of Alexandria, VA, Mary E. (James) Stewart of Stafford, VA, and Marie T. (Rick) Kimball of Woodbridge, VA; and one sister: Karen (Sam) Toder of Indian Head, MD. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a number of nephews, nieces, cousins, and life-long friends.

Visitation: Monday, February 11, 2013 from 4-8PM with Wake Service at 6PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 10AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pomfret, MD. Clergy: Fr. Robert Kosty. Interment: Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD.
