Ellen Louise Meyer, 78, of Prince Frederick, Maryland passed away Saturday December 29, 2012 at her home with her family by her side.

She is the wife of 50 years of the late Raymond F. Meyer who passed away in 2002.

Loving mother of Richard Meyer, Rodney Meyer his wife Sharon, Kathryn Meyer, Roger Meyer his wife Cynthia and the late Robert Meyer. Grandmother of Scott Meyer, Amanda Haigler, Kevin Meyer, Curtis Alsop, Brittany Meyer, Stephanis Meyer, Natalie Meyer, Christopher Meyer and AutumLee Meyer. She is also survived by two great grandchildren; Sophie and Gabriel Meyer, other family and many friends.

Her many hobbies included shopping and sewing and reading. She also enjoyed working with ceramics and rooting for Jeff Gordon , but her family was always foremost in her life.
