Doris "Dot" Futyma of Huntingtown, MD. Born on Oct. 22, 1929 to Albert and Lucille Elrod of Alabama. Passed away 0n Nov. 23, 2012 at the age of 83.

She is the beloved wife of Edward Futyma. Loving mother of Darrell (Sherry D'Agostino) Cooper, Don (Joyce) Cooper and Darlene (Roger) King. Devoted grandmother of Cassie (Bryan) Thacker, Shawna White, Evan Cooper and Scott Cooper. Great grandmother of Ryelee Josephine Thacker. Sister of the late Howard Elrod, The late Judy Bates and the late Gladys Carson.

Friends will be received at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, P.A., 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2012 from 4 – 7 pm and also Wed, Nov. 29, 2012 from 11:30 am until time of service at 12:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Doris' Honor to a charity of your choice.
