Phillip Kenneth Buler, 57, of Mechanicsville, MD, died November 22, 2012. Born October 29, 1955 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Charles Buler and Rosemary Caughlin Buler.

Phil recently retired from the Fort Myer Fire Department in Arlington, Virginia after 30 years of service. He had been a volunteer with the Suitland Fire Department, a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Charlotte Hall and was known by everyone for always helping others.

Phil was predeceased by his parents and brother, John Joseph Buler.

He is survived by children, Carrie Ann Stadnicki of Mechanicsville, MD and Randal Gene Mace Jr. of Zanesville, Ohio; sister, Margaret Ann Rogers; brothers, Charles Edward Buler and Robert William Buler; 6 grandchildren, Daniel Coppage Jr., Kayla Polievka, Joey Polievka, Jeania Mace, Kristie Mace, and Randal Mace III; 4 nephews, Jason Rogers, Justin Rogers, Andrew Buler, and Robert Buler Jr.; 2 nieces, Theresa Rogers and Amy Buler.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Robert Kyner will officiate. Interment will follow at Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
