Llewellyn Myra Railey, 96 of Huntingtown, MD died in Prince Frederick on November 15, 2012. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Kirby and Mary Sutton and was raised by Joseph and Louise Fisher.

She earned her degree as a registered nurse and worked in the nursing field before she married Herbert Railey, Sr. on November 4, 1939. She then began her career as a Navy wife until her husband retired after 28 years of service. She had lived in the Southern Maryland area for 30 years. Her hobbies included ceramics, needlework and flower gardening.

She is survived by her sons Herbert Railey, Jr. and his wife Anne of Dunkirk and Robert Railey III of Huntingtown, who was also her caregiver; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Middleton of Lothian, MD; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her husband of 47 years, Herbert, died in 1985.

An inurnment service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be announced.
