Floyd Donald Rush of Waldorf, MD died on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at his residence. He was 84 years old.

Floyd enlisted with the U. S. Navy in 1946-1968. Then went to work for a security specialist for 30 years and retired out. Floyd joined the American Legion Post #293 (Waldorf, MD) in 1983.

Floyd was loved from so many good friends. He loved to dance and listen to music.

Son of the late Charles O. Rush and the late Mable G. Trueblood Rush.

Predeceased by his parents; his wife Esther G. Rush; one son Donald W. Rush; one brother; and one sister.

His Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 9:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Clergy will be Rev. Charles Long. Interment will follow service at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #293 in Waldorf, MD.
