Harold Lloyd Barlekamp, 82, of White Plains, MD died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, Charlotte Hall, MD. Born March 23, 1930 in Rising Sun, Ohio, he was the son of Earl R. Barlekamp and Mary Allen Barlekamp.

Mr. Barlekamp served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He later worked for Union Carbide as a factory worker, retiring in 1988.

Mr. Barlekamp was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Robert, Earl Dean, Dale and Glenn Barlekamp and sister Verneta Welty.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Alice Rader Barlekamp; children, Linda Murray (Gene), Myra Stalnaker (Ronald) and Harold Curtiss Barlekamp (Tammy); and grandchildren, Kimberly Echino (Joseph), Lee Stalnaker (Cary), Melanie Martin (Sean), Monica Murray and Catie, Alex and Chris Barlekamp and Great Grandchildren, Mason and Dominic Echino, Taylor, Rian, and Sean Stalnaker.

The funeral will take place at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Inc. in Fostoria, OH on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens/Knoll Crest in Arcadia, OH.
