Josephine Ramos Spencer of Waldorf, Maryland, died at her residence on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. She was 78 years old. Born on May 17, 1934 in Denver, Colorado she was the daughter of the late Mary Ramirez and the late Simon Ramos.

A homemaker and mom, Mrs. Spencer was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Piscataway, MD.

She is survived by her husband William Horace David Spencer Jr.; her son William Horace David Spencer III; her two grandchildren Samuel Spencer and Benjamin Spencer.

Service and interment will be private.
