Gloria C. Robertson of Port Tobacco, Maryland, died on Friday, June 22, 2012 at her home. She was 74 years old. Born on November 3, 1937 in Charlottesville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Nellie Frances Via and the late Roy Linwood Coleman.

Mrs. Robertson was the office manager for the Times Crescent newspaper for many years. She was also involved with the hospital auxiliary at Civista Medical Center in La Plata.

Being a cancer survivor Mrs. Robertson was an activist for Breast Cancer awareness. She recently participated in the Relay for Life and walked the Survivor's Lap. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard H. Robertson; her children Gerry D. Robertson and his wife Leslie of Deale, MD, Terri-Lynn Davidson and her husband Lewis of King George, VA and Kevin Daryl Robertson of Port Tobacco, MD; her siblings Joyce Hockett and her husband Dale of Bryantown, MD, Jewel Fagnilli and her husband Mike of La Plata, MD, James Sonny Coleman and his wife Anna of Mt. Victoria, MD; her grandchildren Dawn Renee Egan and her husband Chad, Jenna McGuire Robertson and Collen James Robertson; her great grandson Mitchell Grant Egan.

Visitation on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 2PM to 4PM and from 6PM to 8PM with Prayers at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service on Thursday, June 28, 2012 beginning at 10AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
