Dorothy "Dottie" Landry Hepner of Waldorf, MD died on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. She was 62 years old.

Mrs. Hepner was a statistical assistant for 33 years with the Census Bureau, United States Government. She loved reading, counted cross stitch, ghost stories, and local history. She was a cat lover and enjoyed listening to the Bee Gee's and Neil Diamond music. She was always known for wearing a cross and was of the Catholic faith.

Daughter of the living Richard Price Landry and the late Dorothy Cochrane Landry.

Predeceased by her mother.

Survived by her father Richard P. Landry and two daughters, Kimberly A. Knight of Mechanicsville, MD and Keri L. Hepner of Waldorf, MD. Also survived by two grandchildren, Brian and Sean Knight.

Visitation: Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 9:30 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Clergy: Rev. Mark Roberson. Interment: By family at a later date.
