Inge Anna Thompson 80 of La Plata, Md. died on March 16,2012 at Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, Md. She was born on May 5, 1931 in Berlin, Germany to the late Wilhelm Paul Werner Franke and Erna Helene Martha Franke; she is also predeceased by her husband John Thompson whom she married on May 30, 1953.

She is survived by her children Henry John Thompson of La Plata, Md. and Sonja Inge Stine and her husband Timmy of Colonial Beach, VA.

She was a homemaker and a seamstress in Germany, liked ladybugs and gardening.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 27th from 11 am to service time 12:30pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, PA 211 St. Mary's Ave. La Plata, Md. 20646.

Interment to follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Cheltenham, Md.
