Charles Allen "Charlie" Vietor of Mechanicsville, MD died on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Genesis La Plata Center in La Plata, MD. He was 85 years old.

Mr. Vietor was a supervisor for 39 years at PEPCO and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, MD. He loved working in his yard, boating and fishing, and family get-togethers. He loved his dog "Rusty" and was always known as a good husband and friend.

Son of the late John Henry Vietor and the late Opal Gertrude Sharp Vietor.

Predeceased by his parents and one late step-son, Donald Allen Grabis.

Survived by his wife of 20 years, Betty Ann Goldsmith Vietor; one step-son, Ralph C. Grabis, Jr., of Charlotte Hall, MD; two step- daughters, Belinda Sue Grabis of La Plata, MD and Anna Mae (Francis) Bishop of WV; one brother, John Henry Vietor, Jr., of NC; two step-grandchildren, Kathy McGuiness and Chuck Bishop. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 2-5PM with Memorial Service at 4:30PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Clergy: Fr. John Reutemann. Interment: By family at a later date.
