Betty Lorraine Bookwalter, 83, of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, passed away in Mechanicsville, Maryland on February 18, 2012. She was born on February 12, 1929 in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania.

Betty was the daughter of the late Paul R. Claybaugh and the late Bertha B. (Hetrick) Claybaugh.

She spent time volunteering at Soup Kitchen's and Church organizations. Betty attended school at a one room school house in Williamsburg, PA.

Aside from her parents, Betty is predeceased by her beloved husband, Junior Myles Bookwalter; her son, Willard Myles Bookwalter; and her daughter, Bertha Bookwalter.

Betty is survived by her son, Marion Eugene Bookwalter of Mechanicsville, MD; her 3 brothers, Nelson Claybaugh of Williamsburg, VA; Willard Claybaugh of Indiana, PA; Kenneth Claybaugh of Williamsburg, VA; her sister, Mabel Johnson of Holidaysberg, PA.; her 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
