Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Bowling, 58, of Hughesville, MD passed away on January 18, 2012 at her residence.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents: Mortimer B. Bowling and Irene Auguste Bowling; also by a sister, Patricia Bogen.

Beth is survived by her close friends and caregivers: Jeannie Coates, Ann Proctor, and sister-in-law, Joanne Weaver. Her brothers: M. Thomas Bowling and Charles F. Weaver also survive her, as well as a sister, Ann B. Bowling, and niece, Stacy McArtney, along with other nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

A life celebration will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 5-7 pm with prayers at 6 pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. in La Plata. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 1 pm at the funeral home where Deacon Johnny Barnes will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bryantown.
