Mrs. Douglas was a Retired Personnel Manager for 18 years with U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). She was a former member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Riverdale, MD. She was known as a homebody and enjoyed being with her family.

She was daughter of the late Frank O'Brien and the late Edith Bacgulupi O'Brien. She was predeceased by her parents; her late husband of 21 years, Walter John Douglas; and one late grand daughter, Linda Hannah.

She is survived by one son, John W. (Bonnie) Douglas of Swan Point, MD; one daughter, Gail P. Douglas of Gambrills, MD; and one sister, Eleanor Isaac of Fairfield, PA. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a Wake Service at 7pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD. Clergy will be Father Robert Kosty. A Graveside Service and Interment will take place on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 11am at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722.
