Alma Florence Denston of La Plata, MD (formerly of Pocomoke City, MD) died on November 16, 2011. She was 95 years old.

Miss Denston worked as a Nursing Aide for 32 years at Hartley Hall Nursing Home in Pocomoke City, MD. Daughter of the late Clarence F. Denston and the late Florence Burton Denston.

Predeceased by her parents; one brother, Beverly "Bud" Denston; and two sisters, Gladys Mills and Virginia Hillman.

Survived by one sister, Iva Rucker of Port Tobacco, MD and nephews, Gary Rucker of Port Tobacco, MD, B. F. Denston, and Ronald Denston of Melfa, VA.

Funeral Service and Interment: Monday, November 21, 2011 at 1PM at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Pocomoke City, MD. Clergy: Rev. Paul Elligson.
