Mr. Adriani was the Supervisor of the coal yard at Chalk Point Power Plant (PEPCO) for 40 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. His hobbies included racing pigeons and a love for music, especially karaoke.

He was son of the late Mariano Adriani and the late Rachel Richoppo Adriani.

He was predeceased by his parents; and one brother, Joseph Adriani.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Hazel Ettiene Adriani; two sons, John (Carole) Adriani of Calabash, NC, and Paul Adriani of FL; two daughters, Janet (Carl) Burch of Waldorf, MD, and Betty (Vincent) Weigle of Chesapeake City, MD; three brothers, Dominick Adriani of Temple Hills, MD, Paul Adriani of Waldorf, MD, and John Adriani of La Plata, MD; and three sisters, Mary Merse and Rose Stephanson, both of Fort Washington, MD, and Anne Gregory of Edgewater, MD. Also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 2-5pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

A Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at 4:30pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Clergy will be the Rev. Fred Caudle.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the United States Army Honor Guard.

Interment will take place on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11am at Maryland Veteran's Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
