Robert Michael Peddicord, 58, of Newburg, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Gilchrist Hospice Care in Towson.

Born on November 26, 1963 in La Plata, Maryland, the son of Joyce A. Monroe and the late John A. Monroe. Mike was a carpet installer by trade for many years before working at Captain Billy's Crab House until his passing. Mike loved watching sports and had a spunk and sense of humor like no other.
In addition to his father, Mike is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Timothy B. Anderson and great niece Alayna Monroe Tayman.

Along with his mother Joyce, Mike is survived by his siblings Susan K. Price (Daniel), John H. Peddicord (Leslie), Patricia J. Anderson and Amy Monroe Watson (Coach); nieces and nephews Dianna Caryn Price, Darryl Price, Lauren Peddicord Morris, Kelly Peddicord Bacon, Kevin Moore, Lindsey Watson Tayman, Molly Jean Peddicord, and Kyle Watson; great nieces and nephews Madelyn Price Montgomery, Adean Guschke, William Bacon, Elizabeth Bacon, Lillian Morris, Greyson Price, Connor Price, Grace Morris, Brady Morris, Lanna Moore, and Vincent Tayman.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 2PM to 4PM and from 6PM to 8PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Christ Episcopal Church, 112 Charles Street, La Plata, Maryland with the Reverend Dr. Kate Heicher officiating. Light refreshments will follow in the parish hall after the church service. Interment will be private.

A memorial celebration will be held on April 23, 2022 from 1PM to 3PM at Captain Billy's Crab House, 11495 Popes Creek Road, Newburg, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, (Memorial and Honor Program), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 (www.stjude.org) or to Kennedy Krieger Institute, 707 N. Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21205.

Mike was truly loved and will be missed by all.
