Patricia "Patsy" Laverne Quade, 75, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on November 25, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side. Patsy was born on December 16, 1943 in District Heights, MD to the late Dillard Heiston, Sr. and Lucille (Whitmore) Heiston.

Patsy married her loving husband, John Morris Quade, Sr. on December 23, 1960 in Mechanicsville, MD. Some of their fondest memories together were going on cruises, traveling, fishing, relaxing at the beach and spending time with her friends and family. She was a member of the Hollywood-Leonardtown Optimist Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Mechanicsville Moose Lodge. Patsy was a hardworking woman who owned and operated Seabreeze Restaurant with her husband for 17 years and worked as a hair dresser for forty years. When she wasn't working she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Patsy is survived by her husband, John Morris Quade, Sr.; daughter, Nioma Dean (Donny Ray), and sons, Jay Quade (April) and Jeffrey Quade (Betty Ann) all of Mechanicsville, MD; brothers, Clifton, Lawrence, and David Heiston; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends for Patsy's Life Celebration on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Raymond Schmidt on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, 43950 St. John's Road, Hollywood, MD 20636. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 22020 Chancellors Run Road, Great Mills, MD 20634. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary's Animal Welfare League, Inc., P.O. Box 1232, Leonardtown, MD 20650 or The Autism Society of Baltimore-Chesapeake, P.O.
