Cecelia Elizabeth Armour of Hughesville, Maryland, formerly of Oxon Hill, MD and Palm Coast, FL, died on February 5, 2017 at the Morningside House of St. Charles in Waldorf. She was 91 years old. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Edward Kenyon Armour; son David E. Armour; granddaughter Robin Armour; three brothers Jack, Bill and Richard Gatts.

Born on October 24, 1925 in Moundsville, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth R. and Harley L. Gatts. Mrs. Armour was an administrative assistant at HEW for many years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Mrs. Armour loved to travel, play crossword puzzles and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her sons Robert K. Armour and his wife Barbara of Hughesville, MD, William E. Armour and his wife Rosann of Falls Church, VA; grandchildren John David Armour and his wife Sierra, Nicholas Armour; great grandson Braxton Cole Armour. Service and interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, next to her husband. Memorial contributions may be made to breast cancer.org.
