Edna "Blanche" Conner, 83, of Lexington Park, MD died December 3, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born June 13, 1933 in Nova Scotia, Canada she is the daughter of the late Cecil Ross Currie and Annetta "Lillian" Lockhart Currie.

Blanche was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling to visit her children, grandchildren and siblings. She also enjoyed traveling to Florida, Canada, and upstate, NY where she resided for 20 years in her beautiful mountainside home in Richmondville, NY; which she loved so dearly. In addition to spending time with her family, she also enjoyed gardening, crafts, dining out, friends, and shopping and visiting Annapolis, MD.

Blanche is survived by her daughters: Harolyn Elliott (Joseph) of St. Petersburg, FL, Sharon Gerwer (Gary) of Esperance, NY, Annamay Barnard (Arthur) of Staten Island, NY, Brenda Barton (Gary) of Staten Island, NY, and Jill Aiello (Rocco) of Lexington Park, MD; her siblings: William Ross Currie, Rosella Manson Currie, Marilyn Grace Currie Grandt, and Stewart Paul Currie; her grandchildren: Marlena Conti, Louis Dinino, Jr., Arthur Barnard, Jr., Gary Barton, Jr., and Kelly Barton Burke; 11 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Edgar Conner and her siblings, Hester Ruth Currie Ward, Chipman Perry Currie, David Melvin Currie, George Donald Currie, Wallace Fredrick Bruce Currie, Ada Bell Currie, and Gary Edgar Maxwell.

All services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's, P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Arrangements by the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., Leonardtown, Maryland.
