Jackie Shelton, 61, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, MD. Jackie was born at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington D.C. on July 11, 1955 to the late George Kohlieber and Martha Kohlieber Hull.  She graduated from Thomas Stone High School in Waldorf, MD. Jackie's greatest love was her family, she was very proud of her children, and grandchildren; they were the light of her life.

She was formerly married to the late Bobby Shelton of La Plata, MD. and is survived by her daughters and sons-in-laws, Jennifer Mozingo (Matthew) and Marcia Lewis (Tony) of Goldsboro, NC and son and daughter-in-law Steven Shelton (Heidi) of Ayden, NC; eight grandchildren, Katelyn Franks, Meredith and Mia Mozingo (Jennifer), Auri and Marcus Lewis (Marcia), Anna Shelton (Steve) of Goldsboro, NC and Isaac Sheldon and Allie Waldo (Steven) of Ayden, NC; mother Martha Kohlieber Hull of Hughesville, MD; brother George Spencer Kohlieber of Hughesville, MD; and sister Cynthia Bowling-Boyko of Waldorf, MD; and several nieces and nephews.

A service celebrating Jackie's life will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of New Life Church, 9690 Shepherds Creek Place, La Plata, MD with Pastor Aaron J. Rummage officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at Charles County Rescue Squad 51, 2 Calvert Street, La Plata, MD.

In addition to her father and step father Wayne Hull, she was preceded in death by her brothers Dale and Darwin Kohlieber and Mark Hull.
