George Raymond Albrittain Jr, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 in La Plata, Md with his loving and devoted wife of 67 years by his side, Grace Albrittain. He was born on March 5, 1931 in Pomfret, Md to the late George Raymond Albrittain and Doris Madeline Simmons. He is predeceased by his parents and grandsons Nick and Joe.

George was a strong, kind, and hard-working man who dedicated his entire life to providing for his family.

Many family and friends are left to cherish his memory including; seven children, George Albrittain 3rd (Judy), Joseph Albrittain (Jan), Robert Albrittain, Mary Noel (William),Thomas Albrittain, Barbara Neitzey (Matt), and Carol Freeman (Samuel); sixteen grandchildren; twenty six great- grandchildren ; one great -great granddaughter and two brothers, Donald Albrittain and David Smyth.

To know George was to love George and he will be remembered as the best husband, father, grand-father, and papa there ever was.

A visitation will be held at the Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf, Maryland on Tuesday September 29, 2015 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10am at the Huntt Funeral Home with the burial to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Maryland.
